چکیده
How much transpiration water consumption varies between eucalyptus species is unknown, making the suitability of a particular for large-scale planting in given area, or whether interspecific differences need to be taken into account estimates, uncertain. Here, Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh. (Ec), pellita F. v. Muell. (Ep), most resistant species, and urophylla S.T. Blake × grandis Hill ex Maiden (Eug), widely planted were monitored sap flow. Their stand was also estimated its relationship various influencing factors analyzed same age site, predictive models daily (T) developed. The results showed that T all jointly influenced by meteorological factors, soil content (SWC), leaf area index (LAI), with great variation response each factor among species. Accordingly, we developed species-specific prediction could adequately explain changed (R2-values: 0.863–0.911). There significant mean flow density (JC) three Although Ec had significantly lower JC than Ep, it higher Eug on timescales, where annual Ep (0.11 cm min−1) 1.4 2.6 times (0.08 (0.042 min−1), respectively. Transpiration less but greater (743.41 mm) 2.4 1.5 (311.52 (493.58 mm), These suggest cannot ignored when estimating rates Chinese plantations, whose amount use should considered choosing optimal plant regionally.

Subsidence Evolution of the Leizhou Peninsula, China, Based on InSAR Observation from 1992 to 2010
Over the past two decades, the Leizhou Peninsula has suffered from many geological hazards and great property losses caused by land subsidence. However, the absence of a deformation map of the whole peninsula has impeded the government in making the necessary decisions concerning hazard prevention and mitigation. This study aims to provide the evolution of land deformation (subsidence and uplif...
متن کاملCalonectria species isolated from Eucalyptus plantations and nurseries in South China
Diseases caused by species of Calonectria (Ca.) represent a serious threat to the growth and sustainability of Eucalyptus plantations in China. Symptoms caused by these fungi mainly include leaf blight on trees in plantations and rotting of stems and leaves in nurseries. Extensive surveys have recently been conducted where Calonectria species were collected in Eucalyptus plantations and nurseri...

Commercial Eucalyptus plantations provide an important source of hardwood for forestry industries, worldwide. Several species of Mycosphaerella are associated with a destructive Eucalyptus leaf disease known as Mycosphaerella Leaf Blotch (MLB). During 2000, a survey was undertaken in several commercial Eucalyptus growing areas of South Africa to determine the identity of the Mycosphaerella spp....
